Our Fall Sports Honors continue with the standout Our Fall Sports Honors continue with the standout boat from CBA Crew!

After a five-regatta season that spanned four different states, it was clear which boat was the leader for Christian Brothers Academy Crew. The Boat of the Fall goes to the Varsity 4, which turned in multiple impressive finishes. This boat has an all-senior cast of coxswain Connor Burke and rowers Jack McMahon, Will Vieth, Jack Keavey and Robert Earle.

Of course for a sport with two racing seasons, having success during the fall is a huge jumping off point for the spring season.

“The fall and winter are just stepping stones for the spring,” McMahon said. “Spring is our main season. We use the fall and winter to help and train so we can win when it counts the most.”

Senior midfielder Phil Bodenski finished his CBA career with an excellent display of skill and leadership, making him the CBA Digital Network’s Player of the Year.

Bodenski’s five goals and four assists made him one of the Colts’ high men for goal contributions. He controlled the midfield all season and emerged as a leader with his immense presence on the pitch.

“Over the past three years, Phil has represented everything that makes playing for CBA special,” head coach Tom Mulligan ‘83 said. “He has maintained an exceedingly high standard of quality, both on and off the field, and he always prioritized character and a team-first attitude.”
