10. “When in doubt, pinky out.” from “Tea at the Treedom”

9. “Wait Spongebob! We’re not cavemen. We have technology.” from “Wet Painters”

When Spongebob and Patrick paint Mr. Krabs’s house, they get a drop of paint (which they believe is permanent) on Mr. Krabs’s first dollar. The duo tries many different methods to get the paint out, but they all fail. Patrick is feeling bummed about never winning an award, so Spongebob gets him a job at the Krusty Krab where Patrick will work the phone at the restaurant. He continues to get frustrated when people ask for The Krusty Krab and eventually slams the phone back in place.

6. “It’s not my wallet.” from “Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy III”

After Spongebob and Patrick unfreeze Man-Ray, a notorious villain, the pair tries to teach him the ways of being a good person. They attempt to train him by creating a scenario where Man-Ray returns someone’s dropped wallet. This is where one of the funniest interchanges takes place as Patrick will not accept the wallet he just dropped, despite confirming all of the standards Man-Ray has just set that indicate the wallet is Patrick’s.

5. “We should take Bikini Bottom, and push it somewhere else!” from “Sandy, Spongebob, and the Worm”

When Bikini Bottom is terrorized by an Alaskan Bull Worm, the citizens try to figure out what to do. Patrick suggests that they all just take the city and literally push it somewhere else. Oddly enough, this is the idea the city tries to execute before the worm falls and crushes Bikini Bottom as it’s being pushed somewhere else.

4. “Is mayonnaise an instrument?” from “Band Geeks”

Squidward is organizing a marching band to play at the halftime show of the Bubble Bowl, unfortunately, nobody in Bikini Bottom is musically talented, or even knows what is and is not an instrument. 3. “The inner machinations of my mind are an enigma.” from “The Secret Box”

Patrick has a secret box and refuses to let Spongebob see what is inside. When asked why, Patrick says that he is more complicated than Spongebob, who Patrick refers to as an open book. 2. “You got it set to ‘m’ for ‘mini’, when it should be set to ‘w’ for ‘wumbo’.” from “Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy IV”

After Spongebob accidentally shrinks Squidward with Mermaid Man’s belt, he runs to Patrick to try and reverse the effect. Patrick takes a look at the belt and identifies that it is not at the right setting, and should be flipped around for ‘wumbo’. When Spongebob doubts this logic, Patrick describes wumbo and its connected words, including wumbology, the study of wumbo.

1. “Whoever’s the owner of the white sedan, you left your lights on.” from “Band Geeks”

Seconds after Patrick had asked Squidward if mayonnaise was an instrument, he finds himself in a fight with Sandy, who proceeds to beat him up as they go outside before she stuffs him in a trombone, which is not seen on screen. All the audience gets is a loud scream from Patrick. Then after a long pause, his head peeks through the door and he tells everyone that someone forgot to turn off their car lights. Patrick then walks back to his seat and everyone now sees the trombone, which has the entire audience laughing uncontrollably at our favorite pink starfish.
